If you scroll down to Known Bugs, you can read more about it. After leveling up, it will definitely be available. Reminder: The Extra Perk points menu option may not appear until you have leveled up at least once. Then there will be options to customize the mod.
Open up the menu and select Extra Perk Points. To open the menu in-game, press ESC (Escape), make sure you have SKYUI installed, and an option called Mod Configuration should be available. If you do not like this feature, there is an option in 2.1, SKYUI Mod Menu, to revert the points added automatically. This will only happen when you first launch the game with the mod fresh installed. For example: If you are level 20, when you load in, you will receive an extra 20 perk points to spend. It works as if you have had the mod installed since the beginning of your play through. The mod will also take into account your existing level and add perk points automatically when you initially install the mod depending on your level. Without a mod like this one, you may never get to experience all perks in Skyrim or try out any perk overhauls to the full extent. This mod aims to add a little extra excitement to leveling up, providing you with extra points and the amount you receive which is entirely configurable in-game! Although, a simple mod, there are a lot of perks and combined with a large perk overhaul there could be over 400+.
Eventually, when you become a high level, it can take a really long time to gain perks and only gaining one perk point per level can be unappealing. As time goes on I grow more and more used to it and i'm getting pretty proficient in its use, however everything else about it is way better when I think about it especially the sorting system in it.OVERVIEWThis mod adds the ability to receive a certain amount of extra perk points when you level up. but with Sky UI I had to actually hover over and click the name of the item/gear/power, made it slightly more difficult for me. In the old one if I wanted to equip to right or left hand specifically I had to just click anywhere in open space while the menu was open with the corresponding mouse buttons I wanted to equip them to. I should clarify what it is that makes me like the old one, it is just on thing that makes it troublesome for me. After awhile I grew accustomed to it and now if I switched back I probably wouldn't be able to figure out the old one for awhile again lol.
Yes its SkyUI I found it extremly confusing at first (I kept buying things when I though I was selling and vice versa) ,honestly I liked the old one better,mostly because I have a little trouble lining the cursor up precisely with what I want to click on and end up mis-clicking, but some of my mods said I needed it.
